UNI Continuing & Distance Education to offer Master's in Public Policy

UNI's Department of Political Science, via Continuing and Distance Education, will offer a master's degree in public policy beginning fall 2015. The program is designed for those interested in furthering their education about public policy and the tools needed to assume effective and meaningful positions with public or nonprofit organizations that serve the community.

Rod Library to receive 'Latino Americans: 500 Years of History' grant

UNI's Rod Library has been selected to participate in the "Latino Americans: 500 Years of History" grant. The library will receive $10,000 from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and American Library Association to support programming.

Iowa community solar webinar is July 29

UNI's Center for Energy and Environmental Education will host a webinar on Community Solar Energy in Iowa from noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 29. Experts from both municipal utilities and rural electric cooperatives will describe current and proposed community solar projects in Iowa.
