Dance Marathon and Relay For Life receive prestigious volunteer award

The UNI Dance Marathon and Relay For Life will receive a 2013 Governor's Volunteer Award during a recognition ceremony at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, at UNI's Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center.

UNI men's basketball, men's golf, women's golf, women's cross country and women's volleyball teams have been recognized by the NCAA for their latest multi-year Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores – the most for a single school in the Missouri Valley Conference.
