UNI to host first-ever day of giving

UNI is hosting We Are One UNI, the university's first-ever day of giving, starting at 10 a.m., Dec. 2. You can get involved today by liking the We Are One UNI Facebook page and following the day’s Twitter account @WeAreOneUNI. More information about We Are One UNI is posted online.

New UNI Museums exhibit opening Oct. 16

In honor of the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of World War I, UNI Museums will open an exhibit that explores the Cedar Valley during this time and Iowa's contribution to the war. The exhibit will open Thursday, Oct. 16, in Rod Library.

The latest issue of "UNIversitas," UNI's Journal of Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity, has been published. Features include a forum on the digital turn in academia, a digital short on gendering women and an elaborate sociological study of college students "hooking up."

Live Healthy Iowa achievements at UNI

In the 2014 Live Healthy Iowa 10 Week Wellness Challenge, UNI participants lost 294 pounds and recorded 589,031 minutes of physical activity. Congratulations to Bill Henninger, individual leader in minutes of physical activity, and Bryan Van Donslear, individual leader in weight loss.
