What better way to truly understand human relations than to participate in what senior Sara Dobney calls the ultimate field experience. This elementary education major traveled to the east African country of Tanzania to earn credit for her human relations course required for teacher licensure.

Crisis in Ukraine

The Department of Political Science, the global studies major and the Forum for National and Transnational Identities will host a panel presentation and discussion about the crisis in Ukraine at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 29, in SAB 2. This weekend at Gallagher Bluedorn

Check out the events at GBPAC this weekend! Beginning at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 18 there will be a Renaissance Faire on the GBPAC front lawn. New UNI Museums exhibit opening Oct. 16

In honor of the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of World War I, UNI Museums will open an exhibit that explores the Cedar Valley during this time and Iowa's contribution to the war. The exhibit will open Thursday, Oct. 16, in Rod Library.

The latest issue of "UNIversitas," UNI's Journal of Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity, has been published. Features include a forum on the digital turn in academia, a digital short on gendering women and an elaborate sociological study of college students "hooking up."
