This section intends to develop and promote the collaborative research efforts among scholars who are interested in African-American studies from the perspectives of communication, culture, and community. Although this website is focused on the African–American community in the Cedar Valley, Iowa, the research topics and existing research articles and papers may be helpful to the study in other geographical areas or on other issues. The interactive feature (such as blogs and forums) of the website invites the scholars to participate in the discussion and exchange views on a variety of issues concerning the communication studies on African-American communities.
