Physics Resources & Instructional Strategies for Motivating Students

Overview: 

Housed in the Department of Physics, the highly successful Physics Resources and Instructional Strategies for Motivating Students (PRISMS) program is a high school physics curriculum and professional development program that uses a learning cycle pedagogy. The PRISMS curriculum and learning cycle pedagogy have been used extensively in teacher preparation and professional development programs. PRISMS materials have been available to a few thousand teachers in almost all 50 states and all over the world.  An enhanced and revised version, called PRISMS PLUS, is available in electronic format from the Department of Physics.
