The University of Northern Iowa is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor in Sports Management for the Division of Physical Education in the School of Health, Physical Education and Leisure Services.  The position involves teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, scholarship and research, professional service and advising, and supervision of master and undergraduate student thesis/research projects.  The Division of Physical Education offers majors and minors in physical education teaching, movement and exercise science, and coaching, along with graduate programs in physical education and kinesiology.

Required qualifications include an earned doctorate in Sports Management with a strong background in Physical Education (closely related fields and ABDs with evidence of degree completion by August 2014 will be considered). A research agenda must be evident. Experience in grant writing, familiarity with state-of-the-art technology, and record of professional and public service preferred.
