Using your UNI email
Important! Please note that all official UNI communications, including u-bill notifications, are sent to your UNI email account. We ask that you check this email account often or have your emails forwarded.
UNI email has moved to Google
The University of Northern Iowa has moved students to UNI Gmail. All students have been set up for email within Google Apps @ UNI. See UNI Gmail Migration FAQs for details.
Forwarding your UNI email
Accounts that have been migrated to UNI Gmail will need to set up forwarding again. Forwarding information from the old email system WILL NOT transfer to the UNI Gmail account. You can configure UNI Gmail to forward to another account, if you'd like.
