Don't dump it: Donate it May 8, 9, 10

Panther Pick-Up is a campus-wide campaign during finals week to redistribute items that are no longer needed by students.  Items such as clothing, furniture, carpet, storage accessories, un-opened and non-perishable food, shoes, school supplies, books, electronics and more will be re-distributed to Cedar Valley families served by St. Vincent de Paul, The Salvation Army and Goodwill Industries.
Collection trucks will be on campus Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of finals week:

  • east of Redeker Center between Rider and Shull
  • 23rd St.
  • east of Towers
  • northwest corner of Campbell

The times: 1-4 pm on Wednesday and Thursday, and from 10 am-2 pm on Friday.
Metal recycling is also part of the Panther Pick-up campaign. Dumpsters for metal only will be labeled with that restriction and located:

  • Dancer side of the Towers
  • east of Redeker Center between Rider and Shull
  • Commons circle drive

Metal recycling will be available Wednesday, May 8 – Friday, May 10.
Last May, more than 24,000 pounds (12 tons) of materials were reused or recycled.
