Hagemann Hall Wondering Women is a series of programs organized by staff to elevate the social and academic success of second-year women living in Hagemann Hall.
The October program featured the super power of talking to professors. A newsletter and fliers set the stage for the experience of hosting professors from several UNI colleges. More than 25 students met with professors for dinner at the Piazza Dining Center in Redeker Center. Wondering Women were prepared with good questions so they conversation was robust!

Customers of University of Northern Iowa dining centers, restaurants and convenience stores have an opportunity to rate the food, surroundings and service during the annual customer satisfaction survey this week. The benchmarking survey is used to prioritize changes and compare the satisfaction of UNI customers with campus dining customers nationwide, according the Carol Petersen, Director of Dining Services.

The UNI Residence Hall Association (RHA) first social justice and sustainability event exceeded every expectation for participation.
The TOMS One for One shoes event included selling TOMS shoes for $25 per pair. A pair of shoes was donated to a child in need for every pair of TOMS shoes sold. The social justice and sustainability committee had set an initial goal to sell 100 pairs of shoes. However, the promotion attracted sales of 488 pairs of shoes.

Dining staff members involved more than 200 UNI employees in the dining exhibit at the campus wellness fair. New recipes (see below) were taste-tested and nutrition information was distributed.
