Can I combine my eLearning sections into one eLearning site?

With the integration of the UNI eLearning Learning Management System (LMS) and Campus Solutions Student Information System (SIS), we currently do not have the capability for Instructors to combine sections.  You can use the "Copy Course" feature within the application to setup the courses identically, but subsequently, you will need to make changes to each section independently.

The UNI eLearning Admin team is investigating Blackboard's Section Merge Tool that is included at no cost in Service Pack 8. Although this tool will be available after installing Service Pack 9 on Saturday, August 4, 2012, the UNI eLearning team need to thoroughly investigate the tool to see if it meets our needs, scalability, integrations, etc.. Therefore, the instructor choosing to combine UNI eLearning sections will not be available for the Fall 2012 semester. Due to the complexity of the Section Merge Tool and its implementation, we believe that it will be AT LEAST a year before it is fully implemented.
