Brief database issue (fixed)

Approximately 1:05 PM CDT, September 15, 2011, we received reports of problems submitting tests, grading items, replying to discussion, etc. in the Bb Learn 9 eLearning System. Users received an error messages similar to this:

ORA-01653: unable to extend table BBLPROD.MSG_MAIN by 16 in tablespace BBLPROD_DATA
ORA-06512: at "BBLPROD.MSG_MAIN_CR", line 71
ORA-06512: at line 1
      or
ORA-01653: unable to extend table BBLPROD.GRADEBOOK_LOG by 16 in tablespace BBLPROD_DATA
ORA-06512: at "BBLPROD.GB2_ATTEMPT_LOGGER", line 163
ORA-06512: at line 1

The errors were caused when the BBLPROD_DATA tablespace ran out of disk space on the database. The eLearning database administrator was notified and the tablespace increased at approximately 1:35 PM CDT, September 15, 2011.

Procedures are being implemented to prevent this issue from occurring in the future.
