The emergency restart of the Bb Learn 9 eLearning System was completed and access restored at 9:31 AM CDT.

We are working with Blackboard Support to try to determine the cause of the performance problems.

An emergency restart of the Bb Learn 9 eLearning System will occur at 9:20 AM CDT.

The Bb Learn 9 eLearning System experienced sudden spikes in CPU and memory usage shortly after 8:00 AM that has increased steadily.

An UNI eLearning System outage will occur Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 6:00 AM CDT to 7:00 AM CDT.

This outage is necessary to make configuration changes to the Bb Learn 9 eLearning System application server and storage system.

The Bb Learn 9 eLearning System will not be available during this period.

WebCT CE8 eLearning System is available again!

The WebCT CE8 eLearning System was successfully started at 5:00 PM CDT and available to users a short time later.

An UNI eLearning System outage will occur Friday, September 2, 2011 from 6:00 AM CDT to 7:00:00 AM CDT.

This outage is necessary to make configuration changes to the Bb Learn 9 eLearning System as a result of the problems that have occured Wednesday and Thursday.

The Bb Learn 9 eLearning System will not be available during this period.

Bb Learn 9 eLearning System available again

The Bb Learn 9 eLearning System login page was available again at 9:12 AM. Users should now be able to log into the new version of the UNI eLearning System, Bb Learn 9.

The UNI eLearning System team is continuing to investigate the cause of the problems that occurred this morning, Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from approximately 1:30 AM to 9:12 AM.

Bb Learn 9 eLearning System experiencing problems

The new version of the UNI eLearning System, Bb Learn 9, is experiencing database connection problems. At this time, we have not determined the cause of the problem. The appropriate IT personnel have been contacted.

Users may be able to log into the Bb Learn 9 eLearning System, but will most likely receive numerous error messages until the problem is resolved.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

WebCT CE8 eLearning System is unavailable.

The old version of the UNI eLearning System, WebCT CE8, would not restart after the planned maintenance do to a problem connecting to the database.  The cause of the problem (network or database) cannot be determined at this time. The appropriate personnel have been contacted.

The WebCT CE8 eLearning System is expected to be unavailable until at least 9:00 AM Wednesday morning.

An UNI eLearning System outage will occur Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 1:00 AM CDT to 2:00 AM CDT.

This outage is necessary to increase the java session timeout on the Bb Learn 9 eLearning System and to apply a license key to the WebCT CE8 eLearning System.

Both versions of the UNI eLearning System, WebCT CE8 (old) and Bb Learn 9 (new), will not be available during this period.

An UNI eLearning System outage will occur Thursday, August 25, 2011 from 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 A.M. This outage is necessary to make storage and additional optimization configurations on the Bb 9 application servers.

The new version of the UNI eLearning System, Bb Learn 9, will not be available during this period.
