Fulbright Scholar Program to Haiti is Open

The Haiti program is active for the 2013-14 awards cycle, after over a decade of hiatus.  Further information on applying can be found on the Core Fulbright Scholar Program and proposals are accepted through August 1, 2012.

Monbukagakusho Scholarships Deadline is June 13, 2012

Monbukagakusho, the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) offers following three scholarships for non-Japanese nationals wishing to study in Japan. Research: offers applicants the opportunity to spend 18 or 24 months conducting independent research under a Japanese professor; any field of study is eligible for the scholarship, but applicants must find a Japanese professor willing to supervise their research; however, this does not guarantee that the applicant will be placed with that professor.

Ambassador Stephen Rapp to Speak on Accountability for War Crimes

Ambassador Stephen Rapp will speak on Monday April 2, 2012 at Central Middle School, 1350 Katoski Drive, Waterloo, Iowa on "Promoting Accountability for War Crimes."
