2013 Concert Band
The Spring 2013 Concert Band will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:10-5:00pm in Graham Recital Hall (in Russell Hall).
All students who are interested are encoured to audition!
Auditions for non-music majors will be held Monday, December 3, 2012 from 1:00pm-5:00pm and Tuesday, December 4 from 1:00pm-5:00pm. Auditions will be in GBPAC 48, Dr. Galyen's office.Please come to Dr. Galyen's office starting Thursday, November 29 to sign up for an audition time. If you have classes that conflict with the predetermined audition times, then we will work with you to find another time that works for your schedule.
Students will be asked to perform one prepared piece. Sightreading may also be included as part of the audition.
Students may choose their own prepared piece. In order to help students who do not have easy access to solo literature, we have included a prepared piece for each instrument below. You are welcome to use the music below as your prepared piece if you choose.
If you are in doubt of your abilities, please audition! We want to hear you and we want you to be successful!
