Association for Integrated Roadside Management elects new officers

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The Association for Integrated Roadside Management (AFIRM) elected new officers on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Elected officers include: president, Josh Brandt, Cerro Gordo County; vice president, Denise Straw, Chickasaw County; secretary, Tyler Kelley, Story County; treasurer, Ben Hoskinson, Mahaska County; at large, Matt Purdy, Benton County, and Rose Danaher, Iowa County.

Elections were followed by Iowa's 27th Annual Roadside Conference, organized by the Integrated Roadside Vegetation Management (IRVM) program at the University of Northern Iowa and AFIRM. More than 100 people attended the conference.
