CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- Black Hawk Wildlife Rehabilitation Project will host an animal camp from Monday, June 16,through Friday, June 20. The animal camp serves multiple purposes for both the University of Northern Iowa and the organization. School counselors select the campers, many of whom are labeled "at risk." The camp uses animal therapy and education to help relate to the children.

Linda Nebbe, UNI associate professor and UNI graduate student Amy Davison oversee the camp and are conducting research on animal therapy. Counselors are UNI students who gain both experience and class credit.

Directions to the camp: go west on University Avenue 1 ½ miles after crossing Hudson Road, turn left or south onto Union Road (gravel) and go 1 mile to 2027 (on the mail box which is on your right). The camp driveway is to the left across from the mailbox. The site has 22 acres with a very high fence.
