CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- 'Notes Toward A History,' a documentary by independent filmmaker, Francesca Soans, will be shown on the University of Northern Iowa campus at 7:30 pm, Wednesday, March 5, in the Kamerick Art Building, Room 111.
One hour in length, the film shows how a 103-year-old South Asian woman challenges representations of India and the meaning of history. Soans, an India native, will be on campus to show her documentary and to facilitate a discussion immediately following the film.
Admission is free and open to the public.
