National Science Foundation project to launch at UNI

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The president of the International Arctic Social Sciences Association and polar science leaders from across the globe will join the University of Northern Iowa in launching Arctic-FROST, a new National Science Foundation project, at a kick-off event from noon to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 17, in the Georgian Lounge in the Commons on the UNI campus.

Arctic-FROST is an international interdisciplinary collaborative network headquartered at UNI. The project will enable and mobilize research on sustainable Arctic development as well as connect UNI faculty, staff and students with sustainability scholars from around the world.
