UNI Child Development Center to host open house

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The UNI Child Development Center (CDC) will host an open house from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 7. The CDC is located at 1901 Campus St. and guests may enter through the north door by the track and field house.

Informal tours of the renovated space will be provided and Dwight Watson, dean of the College of Education, will speak at 6:15 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

The UNI CDC is a childcare and instruction resource for the students, faculty, and staff at UNI. The center serves children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. The center is staffed by full-time teachers certified in early childhood education and UNI student staff. In addition, UNI students participate in practicum experiences at the UNI CDC.
