CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa Daniel Webster Law Society (DWLS) will host a panel of UNI professors at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 25, in Sabin Room 002. Panel members will discuss past and upcoming Supreme Court decisions.

Last year, the U.S. Supreme Court made major decisions on same-sex marriage, voting rights, affirmative action and other issues. This year, the court will consider cases on campaign finance reform and abortion. Panelists will explain those decisions, consider what's to come and take questions from the audience. Panelists include John Johnson, professor of history; Allison Martens, assistant professor of political science; and Scott Peters, associate professor of political science.

The event is free and open to the public. For additional information, contact Peters at 319-273-2727 or scott.peters@uni.edu.
