CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- Elaine Eshbaugh, associate professor of gerontology at the University of Northern Iowa, is available for speaking engagements on Alzheimer's and other related dementias.

Eshbaugh serves as the coordinator of UNI's gerontology program, which offers the only undergraduate gerontology degree in Iowa. She is also on the executive board of the Northeast Iowa Agency on Aging and has collaborated with various continuing care communities, adult day services and hospices.

"I am excited to be able to educate people on how to interact with individuals who have Alzheimer's or a related dementia," says Eshbaugh. "Unfortunately, this is a population whose quality of life is largely neglected."

For more information, contact Eshbaugh at 319-273-6083 or elaine.eshbaugh@uni.edu
