CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa School of Music's ensembles will collaborate to present Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Requiem" at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, at Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center on the UNI campus.
The concert will feature more than 150 musicians, including the Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra, UNI Concert Chorale, UNI Singers, UNI Cantorei and UNI School of Music faculty artists Tom Barry, oboe; Amanda McCandless, clarinet; David Rachor, bassoon; Yu-Ting Su, horn; and Hunter Capoccioni, contrabass. Rebecca Burkhardt directs the orchestra, and Dyan Meyer and John Len Wiles direct the choirs. In addition to Mozart's "Requiem," the concert will feature selections from the "Gran Partita," for wind instruments.
