The Executive Vice President & Provost provides a faculty fellowship to coordinate the UNI-NCBI program. The Fellowship provides faculty with an administrative experience in diversity inclusion work. The Fellow is under the direction of the Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs. It is a two-year appointment.
The Diversity Fellowship program is open to tenured associate and full professors with full-time appointments and a minimum of five years experience at UNI. Associate professors should be aware that administrative assignments such as this may not contribute to advancement to full professor under their department’s guidelines.
If a selected Fellow is not currently a member of the NCBI, the person must be available to attend both a one day workshop and a three day train-the-trainer workshop to earn certification from the National Coalition Building Institute.
