Mid-Semester Grade Submission
Spring 2013 Grade Submission Due Dates and System Availability
Spring 2013 final grades for first half-semester courses and full-semester course "D" and "F" grades must be entered into the system by 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Grades may be entered using the electronic grade entry system in MyUNIverse. The electronic grade entry system will become available for submission of first half-semester final grades and full-semester midterm "D" and "F" grades approximately two weeks prior to the end of the first half of the semester.
Electronic grade entry is accessible to faculty through their MyUNIverse account. Once you have logged into MyUNIverse, please take the following steps: (1) Click on the "Resources" tab; (2) Click on "Faculty Center;" and (3) Click on the "Class List/Online Grades" link.

Final Grades for First Half-Semester Courses
For courses with section numbers beginning with "8" (80-89 and 8A-8W), final grades should be submitted.
D and F Grades for Full-Semester Courses
D or F grades (D+, D, D-, or F) should be indicated where appropriate. These grades should also be assigned for students who have not attended class.
Adding Students to Class Lists
The class roster/grade sheets contain the names of all students officially registered in the class according to the Office of the Registrar records. If there are any students who are not listed, but who have been attending your class, please use the faculty notes area of the class roster/grade sheet to add their name and student number to the list along with the appropriate grade. When the student completes the necessary paperwork to register for the course (Registration Form), the Office of the Registrar will use the information to post the grade to the student's record.
Confidentiality of Educational Records
Educational records of students are considered confidential. Faculty cannot post grades in a manner which could identify the student to others (e.g., name, student number, or any other personally identifiable data) unless the prior written consent of the student has been secured.
Grade Entry Authorization
To maintain the integrity and security of the electronic grade entry system, only the individual listed as the official instructor of record is authorized to enter grades for a given course. For courses with multiple instructors, the individual listed as the first instructor of record is authorized to submit the grades for the course.
