Election Results

By: Anthony Spoerl on Thu, 02/27/2014 - 15:41

The official 2014 NISG Election Results are now available here.

Upon further review of the 2014 NISG Election results today (2/27/14), there is an update by the NISG Election Commission on the final vote count. Kevin Gartman and Paul Andersen took 51.7% (610) of the votes, securing them the offices of president and vice president. Corey Cooling and Eric Boise earned 46.8% (552) of the votes.

These results are slightly different than the results reported last night (2/26/14). Votes for the students in the Undecided/General Studies/Interdisciplinary/No College category were transposed in the original calculations. The correct results show Kevin and Paul receiving 15 votes in this category, while Corey and Eric received 25. These numbers were originally reversed and therefore were reported in error. Once again, Kevin Gartman and Paul Andersen will serve as the 2014-2015 president and vice president.

All election documents are available for public viewing upon setting up an appointment with the NISG Election Commission. Please contact KaLeigh White (kaleighw@uni.edu) with questions (2014).
