Constitutional Changes Results

The following changes to the NISG Constitution were approved:

Do you agree with the NISG Constitutional changes that were approved by Senate and signed by President Cezar updating the Constitution to include the Director of Diversity and Student Life as an Executive Officer? (567 yes - 73 no)

Do you agree with the NISG Constitutional changes that were approved by Senate regarding the impeachment and removal of members of NISG? This change means that the NISG Supreme Court will no longer have appellate jurisdiction in matters of impeachment and removal? This power will be exercised by the NISG Senate. (468-161)

Do you agree with the NISG Constitutional changes that were approved by Senate and signed by President Haselhuhn regarding the creation of Executive Orders? This change means that the NISG President will be able to use an executive order to create and appoint people to committees, dismiss NISG executive officers, and call special meetings of the NISG Senate. (497-128)

Do you agree with the NISG Constitutional changes that were approved by Senate and signed by President Haselhuhn updating the NISG Constitution to refer to the NISG Election Rules instead of the NISG By-Laws for matters regarding elections? (544-61)

Do you agree with the NISG Constitutional changes that were approved by Senate and signed by President Haselhuhn regarding the changing of the University At-Large Senate seats? This change means that NISG will elect one University At-Large senator for each 2,000 UNI students and will elect two of these senators in the fall. (569-46)

Do you agree with NISG Constitutional changes that were approved by the Senate and signed by President Haselhuhn regarding the creation of a paid Executive Officer in charge of lobbying and external affairs with the state and local government? (473-141)
