Tuesday, October 18 - Majors in Minutes
7:00-8:30 PM - Maucker Union Ballroom
“Majors in Minutes” is a speed-dating approach to learning more about majors or careers of interest to you.  At this event, you, or a group of students, interested in a major will visit with junior or senior students in that major for five minutes.  After five minutes, you can remain at that station or move to another station of your choosing. You can visit as many stations as you like or as few as you like.

Tuesday, October 18 - Spotlight Concert Series: UNI Singers and Women's Chorus
7:30 PM - Great Hall, Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center
Under the direction of UNI School of Music visiting artist and conductor Dyan Meyer the UNI Women's Chorus will join together with UNI Singers, conducted by professor and conductor John Len Wiles, to offer a shared fall concert. This event is ticketed; students admitted free.

Wednesday, October 19 - Presidential Lecture Series: Robert Waller
7:30 PM - Lang Hall Auditorium
Robert Waller, former dean of CBA and best-selling author, will visit UNI as part of UNI's Presidential Lecture Series. Waller will deliver a public lecture titled "What the Rivers Taught Me." The lecture is free and open to the public. His best-selling novel, "The Bridges of Madison County" sold more than 12 million copies and was made into a major film and theatrical productions in a number of countries.

Friday, October 21 - SAACS Halloween House
4:30-7:30 PM - 2nd Floor, McCollum Science Hall
The UNI Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society are hosting a Halloween House, free and open to the public. People of all ages will enjoy watching witches make Gummy Bears scream, pirates who turn pennies to gold, imps who breathe fire and Dr. Frankenstein channel electricity. Guests are also welcome to make their own gak, slime and liquid nitrogen ice cream!
