Join President Ben Allen and other members of the UNI community in dedicating the new Multimodal Transportation Center this Friday, August 27th. The MMTC is UNI's latest green effort and features an impressive solar energy display on the top deck. These along with geothermal technologies make the MMTC the first net-zero institutional building in the state of Iowa. In addition to being green, the MMTC was also funded with congressional appropriations making up 80% of the building's costs and the additional 20% being funded by UNI. We look forward to seeing you there!
Join us on Thursday September 9th from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Maucker Union Plaza as we Bash with Ben to ring in the 2010/2011 academic year! Be sure to bring school supplies to donate to the Back to School Project, which benefited 2,300 students in Black Hawk County last year. Supplies needed include spiral notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, crayons, scissors, and glue sticks. The rain location will be Chats Coffee Shop in Maucker Union. See you there!
