Applicants must be available on Wednesday evenings and shall serve through the end of the 2009-10 session of NISG (though April 14, 2010).

The Northern Iowa Student Government annual budget process has started. Budget hearings will take place the week of Feb. 15.
NISG will hold three information sessions for student organizations. The purpose of these meetings is to better prepare student organizations for the budget process. The meetings will take place Jna. 25, Jan. 26 and Jan. 27 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the University Room in Maucker Union.

The Northern Iowa Student Government general election season is underway. Campaigning officially starts on Feb. 1. Voting will take place through MyUNIverse on Feb. 23-24.
Applicants who wish to have their name on the ballot must complete an information packet and petition. All applicants are required to meet with Election Commissioner Mary Jo Halder to receive an application.
Meetings with Election Commissioner Halder will take place on Jan. 25 from 4 to 7 p.m. (Oak Room, Maucker Union), Jan. 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. (SIAC Meeting Room, Maucker Union), Feb. 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. (SIAC), and Feb. 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. (SIAC). Please contact Commissioner Halder at email@example.com if you would like to schedule an alternative meeting time.
Complete applications are due to the NISG office no later than Feb. 5. Applications received after this will not be accepted.
