Student Wellness Services provides support for creating and maintaining healthy eating behaviors. The Wellness Resource Lab (WRC 104) provides books, brochures and journal articles. Individual appointments can be made with a Health Educator by contacting Joan Thompson to discuss healthy eating strategies. The Department of Residence also offers nutrition information and a wide variety of nutritious food options.

Intuitive Eating is an approach that teaches you how to create a healthy relationship with your food, mind, and body. You learn how to distinguish between physical and emotional feelings, and gain a sense of body wisdom as you reject the diet mentality. Intuitive Eating is rooted in 10 basic principles that invite you to a world of pleasurable yet healthy eating and a sense of freedom that can be exhilarating!
