Artist Series: Emily Bear

A native of Rockford, Illinois, Emily Bear broke into the national spotlight at age six, when she appeared on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” appearing four more times all within a span of two years. She made her Carnegie Hall debut at age nine and performed at the Hollywood Bowl at age 10. Needless to say, this pianist and composer is one of the most astonishing musical talents of our time. Now, age 13 and under the mentorship of Quincy Jones, she brings us her diverse talent. Along with a jazz trio, she seamlessly moves from classical music to jazz.
