Film and Discussion: "Food Matters"

Monday, September 9, 2013 - 2:00 pm

Food Matters examines how food affects our lives--sometimes in ways we least expect. It demonstrates that malnutrition is a result of how food is produced, the toxins within our soil and air, and the pharmaceuticals we are ingesting. . .with fatal results. By being conscious of what we put into our bodies, we might develop the ability to heal ourselves naturally. The film will be used as the basis for personal reflection and dialogue regarding how individual food choices and their implications affect and impact the larger community.
