The University of Northern Iowa will host Rob Lowe as part of the Joy Cole Corning Distinguished Leadership Lecture Series

Lowe, who has been acting since the age of 8, is well known for his prolific career in film and television. He has also served as a producer, writer and director. Off screen, Lowe is a dedicated activist in the fight against cancer.

In a presentation based on his latest memoir "Love Life," Lowe shares unforgettable stories and observations during his process of becoming a man, husband, friend and father. Lowe will share some of these insights during his presentation "Living a Life of Leadership."

Admission to the lecture is free; tickets are required. Tickets will be available:

Monday, Aug. 31 and Tuesday, Sept. 1 for UNI students only;
Wednesday, Sept. 2 through Friday, Sept. 4 for students, faculty and staff;
Tuesday, Sept. 8 for the general public.
