The Society for Human Resource Management will host Elizabeth Dutcher and Molly Turk. They will discuss topics including what life is like after college and tips on getting a job. All majors are invited.

Tuesday, September 16, 2014 - 8:00 pm

Watch Homecoming royalty candidates compete for King and Queen. Scores will be based on judging and crowd vote. Winners will be crowned Friday night at the Pep Rally.

Come join CAB for the Homecoming Picnic! Grab some free food, listen to KULT, play games like giant checkers & giant jenga!
Wednesday, September 17, 2014 - 7:00 pm

The Homecoming Hypnotist will have two shows. The first show is at 7 p.m. and is rated PG; the second show will be at 9:30 p.m. and is rated PG 13. Students, alumni, faculty, staff and the community are welcome to either showing. This event is sponsored by the Campus Activities Board (CAB).

Thursday, September 18, 2014 - 8:00 pm

All students are encouraged to play bingo; space is limited so get there early! You must have your student ID with you in order to win a prize. 

Friday, September 19, 2014 - 9:00 pm

The Homecoming Pep Rally will take place following the UNI volleyball game. Finalists will compete for the top prize of the pride cry and the student organization competition. Homecoming Royalty will be crowned and all UNI fans will get pumped up for the Saturday Homecoming football game!

Saturday, September 20, 2014 - 8:00 am

The UNI Homecoming Committee, with assistance from NISG, RHA and Wellness and Recreation Services, will host a Homecoming Student Tailgate. Mingle with other students and enjoy food and lawn games before the homecoming football game.

Liz Funk will discuss topics focused on women including stress reduction, how to feel empowered in today's society and how to achieve goals for the right reason. She has written many books on women's issues.

UNI Students Together for the Advancement of Reproductive Rights (UNI STARR) will host Laci Green speaking on "What makes for the best sex ever?" In this upbeat program, students get a sex positive crash-course about the safe and healthy exploration of their sexuality while in college. Brace yourself for lots of laughs, useful information you never knew you needed and a fun night that always draws a crowd. 

Green is a 24-year-old sexuality geek based out of the San Francisco Bay Area and the creator and host of the largest sex education show on the internet called Sex Plus. The show consists of a biweekly video series, daily blogging, university lectures and community activism. The project currently reaches 5 million people each month in more than 100 countries. She also hosts two web shows: a science news show for the Discovery Channel and a sex education series for Planned Parenthood.

You've heard of Color Runs, but have you ever heard of a Foam Run? UNI Dance Marathon will host this run through foam, slip 'n slides, water balloons and sprinklers. Check-in begins at 5 p.m. with the race starting at 6 p.m. Registration is $20; proceeds benefit the University of Iowa Childrens' Hospital.

Thursday, September 25, 2014 - 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

UNI Freethinkers & Inquirers will host the Flying Spaghetti Monster Dinner and Charity Raffle. There will be a table in Maucker Union to sell raffle tickets. Proceeds will benefit the Northeast Iowa Food Bank as a part of Out Week. Dinner is free. Need not be present to win.

Saturday, September 27, 2014 (All day)

Gamma Phi Beta will host the 2nd annual Crescent Classic Par-tee & Par-tea: Golf Tournament and Tea Party. The golf tournament will be a four-person best shot with a shot gun start at 8:30 a.m. Golfing is $55 for adults, $40 for students and includes 18-holes of golf, lunch and a free cart. We will also host a tea-party and lunch for the non-golfers from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.; cost is $10.  Other activities are a silent auction, raffle and vendors selling various items. Friday, October 10, 2014 - 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm

The Masters in Public Policy (MPP) Program is hosting a dinner reception and fundraiser to benefit the Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The event will feature a formal dinner, silent auction, cash bar and opera performance. Tickets are $50 and must be purchased in advance.

Tuesday, October 21, 2014 - 8:00 pm

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) will host Pete Lee, a comedian from the Midwest.
