The Black in Style Fashion Extravaganze begins with a paparazzi pre-show in the GBPAC lobby featuring photo opportunities, interviews and performances on the red carpet. The fashion show begins at 8 p.m. The show is free for UNI students, faculty and staff; $10.50 for the general public. VIP tickets are $10.50 for students and $20.50 for the public. VIP tickets include preferred seating in the GBPAC, a back stage experience to meet and
greet the designers and host Fonzworth Bentley.

Campus Activities Board (CAB) is sponsoring a UNI student special at the Waterloo Black Hawks hockey game. One free ticket per student is allowed; bring student ID to the CAB office on the upper level of Maucker Union on Mondays and Thursdays from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; students need to provide their own transportation; there will be a student section at the game; and a UNI hockey match will follow the Black Hawks game.

Campus Activities Board will host a day trip up to the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minn. Buses will load at Gilchrist Hall at 6:45 a.m. and leave at 7:30 a.m.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in the CAB office (located on the upper level of Maucker Union). UNI students only.

Campus Activities Board will host Western Night. There will be music, line-dancing, a mechanical bull and a pie-eating contest.

Guest speaker Lindsay King will share her story of teen pregnancy and the difficult choice of adoption for her child.  Educational session on adoption to follow.

Get crafty with Campus Activities Board by making fanny packs, snapbacks, pet rocks and bracelets; no charge.

Wednesday, March 4, 2015 - 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Take a break from homework and join UNI CAB for Rec Night. There will be canoe battleship, inflatables, basketball, racquetball, ping pong and leisure pool races.

Thursday, March 5, 2015 - 6:30 pm

UNI SHRM will host a social for students interested in a human resource field. Individuals from all areas of human resources will discuss their careers, what their job entails and what they like/dislike. Refreshments will be provided.

UNI Dance Marathon will host its 4th annual "Big Event." Registration is $25 and includes a t-shirt, free entertainment and two meals. Register at www.unidancemarathon.com. The fundraising goal is $225,000.

SHRM will host a panel of human resource professionals who will answer questions about their jobs, the industry, and more.

Participants will make literacy kits to donate, pet toys, write letters to soldiers and tie fleece blankets for local children's hospitals.

Wednesday, March 11, 2015 - 7:00 pm

The speaker at this event will present real-life leadership skills and how students can utilize them as leaders in organizations as well as in the classroom and workplace.

Thursday, March 12, 2015 - 7:00 pm

Campus Activities Board (CAB) presents "Into the Woods." Caramel popcorn, chex mix, puppy chow and pop will be available.

Monday, April 6, 2015 - 8:00 am to Friday, April 10, 2015 - 5:00 pm

Honors Week is designed to highlight and promote events your society is already hosting, such as elections, recognition and induction ceremonies, or end of the year events taking place during the week of April 6.  Honors Week also includes activities to bring everyone together, such as volunteer projects, film viewings, the Honors Ball and research presentations.

Relay for Life is sponsored by the American Cancer Society and the UNI Colleges Against Cancer chapter. The 12-hour event will raise money for cancer research. Participants will celebrate those who have beat cancer, remember those who have lost their battle and fight back so cancer no longer exists in our world. Entertainment will include a live band, bounce houses, silent auction, photo booth, contests and speeches by those who have been affected by cancer.
