UNI Survive

Mission Statement:
The goal of this competition is to raise money for a variety of charities and provide an unforgettable experience for students and staff. The event will require participants to fundraise money for a charity of their choice, and compete in mental and physical challenges without typical modern amenities.

Summary of Event:
An entire week (5 nights and 5 days) spent camping in order to raise money for a charity of choice. The contestants will be expected to participate in numerous physical and mental challenges as a team throughout the week. The team will attempt to win the most points in order to win the title of UNI SURVIVOR and more money to go towards their charity of choice. Besides points and money, contestants will be competing for luxuries such as extra food and comfortable sleeping.

Only 10 teams will qualify for UNI Survive. Qualifying fundraising will begin on Monday, September 23rd and end on Friday, October 11, with the 10 teams being announced before Friday, October 18th. Fundraising may continue for the top 10 teams once the teams are announced. Survivor week will take place starting at 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 20th and officially end at3:30 pm Friday, October 25th, with a celebration following the event.
