This program provides instruction in English for academic purposes along with opportunities for professional development. As part of the professional development component, students participate in class observations, class exchanges, job shadowing, and visits to private colleges and community colleges to learn about various professional fields. Students will have the opportunity to observe 2-3 UNI classes that relate to their individual path of study. They will also be able to spend a day with a host family in Cedar Falls. The program ends with a week in Des Moines, the capital of Iowa. During their stay in Des Moines, students stay with host families and participate in a variety of cultural and professional activities.
