This course highlights exemplary techniques for enhancing the teaching of geography. Connecting with standards-based content, namely the Iowa Core, this workshop introduces "Teaching With the Stars," a series of high-quality online modules that focus on the topics of globalization, watersheds and agriculture. Gain access to a full range of online materials such as in-class video demonstrations, content enhancements and background material, pedagogy enhancements, and lesson plans. A veteran Iowa social studies/geography teacher enriches the online content with on-the-ground experience and real-world context.
