The 5-day workshop on metal casting technology exposes high school teachers to an exciting mix of education, technology, and practical hands-on experience in metal casting. Utilizing the premier metal casting facilities at UNI, high school teachers can develop tailored metal casting curriculum for their class room. Additionally, tour of local foundries and interaction with foundry leaders at the Cast Metals institute two day seminar establishes industry connections for teachers to guide their students into metal casting careers and educational opportunities at UNI
