Additional readings are assigned online. You may not need to buy, but will definitely need access to, the manual of style required in your discipline (for example, in psychology, education, and other fields, APA is required; in the humanities and literature, MLA is generally the required style; Chicago style is preferred in history and political science. For other areas of specialization, there are specialized styles such as ASA, American Sociological Association style, CSE, Council of Science Editors style, and AAA, American Anthropological Association style.). This course is available in an online format, utilizing web pages and eLearning, a learning management system requiring Internet access and a web browser. Students may need access to someone who can assist with computer set-up.
