To be notified about new Reading Endorsement course offerings, please complete the online interest form on the Overview tab and we will contact you as information becomes available. Students may begin the course sequence in the Summer or Fall semester.

Step two: Determine the courses you need

The best way to get started with regard to the Iowa K-8 Reading Endorsement is to work with Cathy Humke in the Registrar's Office at 319-273-2245 or Cathy.Humke@uni.edu to determine the courses you need to take to complete the endorsement.

Step three: Enroll in a course

The next step is to enroll in a course. Enrollment for the Summer 2015 courses will open late-Spring 2015. Complete the form on the Overview tab and we will notify you with enrollment details when they become available.

What to expect

After your transcripts are analyzed and your requirements are determined, program coordinator Deb Tidwell will work with you to map out a program of study that will lead to the endorsement.
