Grief Processing Session
The UNI Counseling Center will be hosting a grief processing session for residents of Bender Hall and others who want to attend. This will be in a group format so please arrive on time. This will be an opportunity for students to talk about their feelings related to the recent death of Caitlyn Burns. The session will be at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1 in the Towers Private Dining Room.


The Counseling Center psychologists and mental health counselors are available to consult with faculty, staff members, friends or family members who have concerns about a student.

If you have concerns about a student that you would like to discuss, call the Counseling Center at 319-273-2676.

Because of confidentiality reasons, we cannot provide information to you about the treatment of a specific student without the student's written permission.
