On Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. CDT, the UNI eLearning System will be UNAVAILABLE to disconnect the old application file server and restart the system.

Instructors: You must make your UNI eLearning course available to students in order for them to have access to it. Information and directions are located at: https://www.uni.edu/elearning/how-do-i-make-my-bb-learn-9-courses-available-students
Students: Use of the UNI eLearning system is based on the instructor's discretion. Although all UNI courses will have an eLearning course, the Instructor must make that course available for students to have access. Students will have access only to the course(s) in which they are officially registered and the Instructor has made the eLearning site available. If you do not see a course listed, please contact the Instructor of the course(s) to see if they are using the UNI eLearning System and if they have made their eLearning course available to students.

On Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 5:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. CDT, the UNI eLearning System will be UNAVAILABLE for maintenance to install Blackboard software patches and update building blocks.

On Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. CDT, the UNI Panopto server (http://panopto.uni.edu) will be UNAVAILABLE while maintenance and upgrades are performed. Users will be unable to view or upload Panopto sessions during this period.

Explanation of the June 27, 2015 Turnitin Service Disruption.
At 6:50 p.m. CDT on Monday, June 29, 2015, access to Turnitin assignments appears to have been restored.
This morning, Monday, June 29, 2015, Turnitin assignments appear to be unavailable again. We received reports that users could not access Turnitin assignments and verified that attempting to access Turnitin assignments will eventually time out. We have not received any new reports from Turnitin, but will monitor the service and post when it is available again. We apologize for the inconveniences this Turnitin service disruption has caused.
Around 9:05 p.m. CDT, it appears that access to Turnitin assignments has been restored.
Turnitin assignments in UNI eLearning (Blackboard) courses are not available for students and instructors due to a service disruption that prevented users from accessing the Turnitin.com homepage or services from approximately 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. CDT on June 27, 2015. Recovery began shortly after 11 p.m. CDT; however, Turnitin Support said it may take up to 48 hours for users to regain access to Turnitin assignments. When a user clicks on a Turnitin assignments, the connection will eventually time out after approximately 3-5 minutes.
