On Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. CDT, the UNI eLearning System will be OFFLINE so that ITS Information Systems can migrate the eLearning database VM to new hardware and allow  ITS Network Services to update the operating system software on the eLearning application servers. These updates will continue to ensure that your UNI eLearning system is fast, secure, and reliable.

On Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. CDT, the UNI eLearning System will be UNAVAILABLE to install the latest Blackboard Learn 9.1 release and building blocks. To learn more, please visit: New Features and Enhancements for Fall 2014.

On Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. CDT, the UNI eLearning System will be UNAVAILABLE so that we can install application patches.

On Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. CDT, the UNI eLearning System will be UNAVAILABLE for required restart due to McGraw-Hill Connect maintenance:

"On Saturday, June 28th  from 12am – 6pm EDT McGraw-Hill Connect is moving to a cloud-hosted environment and will be inaccessible as we complete the migration."

If your eLearning course utilizes the McGraw-Hill Connect tools, please note that these tools will be UNAVAILABLE from 11 p.m. CDT Friday, June 27 through 7 a.m. CDT Sunday, June 29.

On Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 5:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. CDT, the UNI eLearning System will be OFFLINE for ITS-Network Services' announced "Network maintenance".

On Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 5:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. CDT, the UNI eLearning System will be OFFLINE for the announced "GIL/CBB datacenter network maintenance".

Resolved: It appears the eLearning database was simply turned off. It was started again around 7 a.m. CDT. We are waiting results of the investigation as to why the database was off. We restarted the application on both nodes and successfully completed all post-restart checks. Access to the UNI eLearning System was restored to users at 7:45 a.m. CDT.

The UNI eLearning System is currently experiencing an unexpected OUTAGE. Initial investigation shows this outage may have started around 2:18 a.m. CDT. We have contacted the appropriate parties and are waiting a response. We will update when we have further information.

On Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 5:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. CDT, the UNI eLearning System will be OFFLINE for the announced "Network core and border maintenance".

On Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. CDT, the UNI eLearning System will be UNAVAILABLE for an extended period to perform application server maintenance and to move the database to new hardware and operating system.
