Cat Crew
A group of undergraduate student leaders who facilitate the Panther Welcome program for new students. Cat Crew members serve as leaders and guides to the incoming class by providing an introduction to campus and its resources and preparing students for both academic and co-curricular success.
The Cat Crew application for the 2024 - 2025 will be available February 19 to March 8, 2024.
Cat Crew Position Description
- Lead a group of new students through Panther Welcome programming
- Be proactive in assisting students and leading by example
- Facilitate activities and discussions within small groups to promote and maintain morale
- Serve as a positive representative of UNI
- Attend training session before Panther Welcome to prepare for the program
- Assist with Welcome Week events
Cat Crew receives plenty of perks including UNI merch, meals during Panther Welcome, and will be able to move in early for no additional charge.
Time Commitment 2024
Cat Crew must commit to attending all of training and Panther Welcome programming.
- Attend one team meeting in Spring semester
- Move-in: August 19
- Training: August 19-20
- Panther Welcome programming: August 21-23
- Select Welcome Week activities throughout August 24-30
