The Math Department has received funding for two undergraduate Math or
Statistics students to do research on campus under the direction of a
faculty member this summer. This is an eight week program with somewhat
flexible dates and a stipend of $3000. Students are expected to make a
poster presentation on their results at the end of the summer.
A wide variety of projects is possible, including education focused projects!
The pre-proposed set of projects is short, but we welcome your ideas
for projects, too.
The process is moving fast this year, so interested students should
start their applications now. All of the relevant documents and a
longer description of the program can be found on the web.
