1. With a designated University Supervisor (Basis Code I) position assignment when existing directional responsibilities with same are required of a staff member for a period of at least five (5) consecutive scheduled working days as a result of the absence of the regularly assigned incumbent.
  2. With added duty assignments which normally are required of, and are expected to be continued with, a higher rated Regents Merit System position when same has/or is expected to remain vacant beyond a pay period.

Pay for special assignment will be provided in accordance with Section 3.39(6) of the Board of Regents Merit System Rules.
