Celebrating UNI at the Statehouse

On Monday, Feb. 24, University of Northern Iowa students, faculty and staff traveled to the Iowa capitol to host UNI Day in the rotunda of the Statehouse.

This was a great opportunity for participants to learn about the wonderful academic programs UNI has to offer, our cutting edge research and amazing student organizations. Legislators met with President Ruud, took pictures with our mascot TC and listened to a performance by a jazz trio representing UNI's School of Music.

UNI Day was also the perfect opportunity for alumni to reconnect with their alma mater and advocate on our behalf.
