UNI Interpreters Theatre presents 'Boys Will Be Boys'

"Boys Will Be Boys," a show about the relationship between masculinity and violence, will be at 7:30 p.m., Thursday to Saturday, March 2-4, in 040 LNG. Admission is free but seating is limited. This production contains mature language and situations.

Performance appraisal training for supervisors

Performance appraisal training for supervisors will be offered Thursday, March 16; Wednesday, March 22; and Wednesday, April 5. Participants will learn how to approach and follow through with the performance appraisal and the entire performance management process. The training will focus on performance appraisals for P&S and merit staff but student employment staff will be present to provide a short overview related to evaluating student employees. Registration is required.

Rod Library spring break hours

Rod Library spring break hours are posted on the library website. Patrons can check out materials and enter the building until ten minutes to the closing time, at which time service desks close and the doors are locked. Library online resources are available 24/7; if off campus, you will get a prompt to enter your CatID.

The Red Basket Project

Northern Iowa Feminists will have a feminine hygiene products drive in March. All donations will be given to local women's charities. All feminine hygiene products, including tampons, pads, menstruation cups, etc., will be accepted. Collection boxes will be in LIB, WRC, MAU, 235 SAB, 225 SAB, the LGBT* Center, CME and the Hagemann Hall office. For more information, email brennaw@uni.edu.

Faculty and staff tech tips

Blackboard allows you to do weighted grades as a part of the Grade Center. The best way to do this is to organize your assessments into categories (e.g. quizzes, tests, papers, etc.) and then assign the weights to the Weighted Total column in the Bb Grade Center. Diversity Colloquium: Men of Color, Mental Health and the Correctional System

The course-to-course navigation feature in eLearning (Blackboard) allows you to quickly move between courses and retain the context that you're currently in. For instance, if you are inside Discussion Board and use the course-to-course navigation button, then you will jump into the new course in the Discussion Board area.
