UNI Horn Choir Day

Under the direction of School of Music professor Tina Su, the UNI Horn Choir will offer a spring recital featuring community players as well as UNI students as part of this day-long event. For more details, contact yu-ting.su@uni.edu. This event is free and open to the public.

UNI Reed Day

School of Music faculty artists Amanda McCandless, Ann Bradfield, Heather Peyton and Cayla Bellamy will coordinate and appear as clinicians at this event, which will also feature guest artists Anna Mattix, Debra Richtmeyer, Steve Vacchi, and Stephanie Zelnick. Guest Recital: Toby Furr, euphonium

Visiting artist Toby Furr will present a euphonium recital with UNI faculty artist Polina Khatsko, piano. SSG Toby Furr, a native of Dallas, Texas, joined the U.S. Army Ceremonial Band in 2013. SSG Furr is a graduate of the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. At UNT, he studied with Dr. Brian Bowman and performed with the UNT Wind Symphony as well as several chamber ensembles. SSG Furr was the winner of the Leonard Falcone International Euphonium Competition in the student division in 2010 and in the artist division in 2011. This event is free and open to the public.
