What’s next for you?

You have decided to that now’s the time for you to move to your next career chapter. Perhaps the timing was forced upon you. Or maybe you’ve simply decided it’s time for something new. But before you start, here are several key elements for a successful job search:

Job Search Tools

In a job search, you are marketing a product and that product you’re “selling” is you. It’s difficult to look objectively about your own accomplishments and identify what a potential hiring manager will be looking for. Although you have great skills, you are probably not the best person to write your own resume. It takes a specially trained individual who is up on what hiring managers need and want today. By investing in yourself, you will save money in the long run to get the job of your dreams faster. Don’t wait until that perfect job is posted. Get yourself ready NOW!

You need to make sure you have the right personal marketing materials ready for your job search. These days, hiring managers get hundreds of applications for any one open position. Your resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn Profile need to showcase your qualifications and paint a story about why you are the best person for the job.

We all know a looking for a job can be daunting. In today’s marketplace, you need to do more than just submit resume after resume to job boards. Do you know how to enlist social media and your valuable contacts to help you find your ideal job? Are you on LinkedIn? If not, you need to be! In addition to an engaging LI profile, you need to know how to utilize your contacts in a directed networking search. It’s been estimated that 80% to 90% of jobs are landed because of networking.

Are you overwhelmed in your job search? Check out my Job Search Coaching Program. Are you prepared to put your best foot forward when you get that coveted interview? Get your confidence back by enrolling in my Master the Interview Coaching Program.

Webinar: The Secret Laws of Attraction

Webinar: The Secret Laws of Attraction

Wednesday, May 17, 2017 -

7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Take advantage of this free webinar offered to you by the University of Northern Iowa Alumni Association.

This week Talane Miedaner will focus on personal marketing.

Talane Miedaner shares her winning approach to becoming irresistibly attractive to relationships, money, opportunities and success.

Her 7-tiered program reveals how to stop struggling and start going with the flow. How to expand your willingness to have, and to fulfill your emotional needs. How to orient your life around your own core values and passions. And how to indulge in excellent self-care as you let yourself become effortlessly successful.

Learn how to structure your life so you too can be irresistibly attractive. Learn these laws of attraction to effortlessly attain your heart’s desire:

  • “If you don’t need it, you are more likely to attract it.” If our emotional needs are unmet, we repel what we most desire. When we’ve fulfilled our deepest needs ourselves—such as the need to be cherished, the need to be heard, and the need for harmony—we are naturally attractive to potential relationships, both personally and professionally.
  • “Like attracts Like.” When we are fully living our core values, we effortlessly attract others who share our values.
  • It sounds simple. The trick is learning how to apply these laws in your everyday life—and international bestselling author and noted life coach, Talane Miedaner shows you how. This easy-to-follow guide provides a comprehensive quiz to help you identify your top four emotional needs and includes step-by-step instructions for meeting those needs. Once you start embracing your passion and living your dreams, you instantly become more attractive to others. It’s truly the “effortless”; way to find and keep the love of your life or to attract the ideal business opportunity or position.
